Nu-Cryl WRS Acrylic Water Repellent Solution

NU-CRYL® WRS is a unique acrylic oil and water repellent treatment.

Two grades area available:-

NU-CRYL® WRS is suitable for Porous walls and façades preventing Frost damage and organic growth.

NU-CRYL® WRS also protects against Soiling and the effects of acid rain.

NU-CRYL® WRS complies with the requirements for Class A and class B water repellents to BS 6477:1992.

NU-CRYL® WRS EXTRA is suitable for application to dense flooring substrates such as pedestrian areas, car parks and paving which is subjected to heavy wear and staining

NU-CRYL® WRS EXTRA will resist oil penetration

NU-CRYL® WRS EXTRA creates a non-stick surface which allows easy chewing gum removal.

DESCRIPTION: Nu-Cryl W.R.S. is a unique acrylic oil and water repellent treatment.

ADVANTAGES: Due to its excellent water repellent qualities, reduces penetration of oil and

water, frost damage and organic growth. Stain and dirt resistant.

Non-stick and allows easy chewing gum removal. Conforms to BS 6477:1992.

Will not affect the original colour of the substrate.

Highly resistant to weathering and UV exposure.

Moisture vapour permeable.Non-glossy appearance.

Unaffected by freeze/thaw cycles.

One application required reducing labour costs.

USES: For use on brickwork, concrete, natural stone, reconstructed stone

and blockwork, granite, marble and terrazzo. May also be used on wood.

COVERAGE RATE: This is dependant upon the porosity of the substrate.

PREPARATION: Ensure surfaces to be treated are clean, free from contamination

and dry. Treat all areas affected by organic growth with Hydron

SS1 Sterilising Solution.

APPLICATION: Impregnation to be applied by flood-coating method using

a low-pressure spray equipment of the knapsack type, or by brush/roller.

Application should be to full saturation commencing at the top and

working downwards. Two applications are required on wood with

only one application required on masonry, brickwork etc.

Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C.

STORAGE: Store away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.

Protect from frost.
